You Won’t Believe What This Woman Found in a Trash Bag on the Road

One this regular morning, Malissa Sergent was running late to work. To make better time, she decided to take a side road to the elementary school where she works. It was on the road during that frantic drive that Malissa would make a shocking discovery that would change her life forever.

This mother of three spotted a random trash bag on the side of the. But the bag wasn’t just sitting there, in fact, it looked to her as if the bag was moving and shifting around. Right away, she knew there was something alive in that bag.

Whatever it was, it was clearly trying to walk or escape the bag, so Malissa pulled out her phone and started recording as she slowly drove up to the bag. And after hearing or feeling her presence, whatever was inside the bag started walking in her direction.

She thought it might’ve just been a pesky animal digging in garbage, but she was still going to let it free. However, that’s not what it was at all, not even close. As it turned out, the animal she found inside that garbage bag was a puppy, an adorable and cute little puppy.

So, in a completely disgusting and horrific act, someone had actually put this little cutie in a bag and left them on the side of the road. Of course, Malissa took the dog home and immediately took it to the vet and it turned out the puppy was in great health and was no more than 8 weeks old.

Not wanting the puppy to potentially suffer a similar fate with someone else, Malissa and her family decided to keep the dog, and aptly named it Hefty. The family absolutely loves him and Hefty definitely loves them back.

It is horrible to think of what might have happened to this puppy is Malissa hadn’t taken that back road on the way to work. She took a major risk checking what animal was in that moving bag and the risk paid off not only for the puppy but also for Malissa as well as she has a new pet.
