Weirdest Pumpkin Spice Products Yet Are Dominating Fall 2017

The oncoming fall season means only one thing: It’s pumpkin spice time once again. Since Starbucks introduced the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte in 2003, PSL-mania has swept across pop culture.

Of course there’s the original PSL grandaddy of them all. Released seemingly earlier and earlier each year – in 2017 the drink was released before August was over – the PSL takes over Starbucks’ marketing campaign for months. Numerous varieties are sold, including Pumpkin Spice Frappuccinos, pumpkin spice teas, and even bags of instant coffee flavored with pumpkin spice.

Now it seems like you can’t step into any store without bumping into some product with “pumpkin spice” emblazoned across it. There are foods, drinks, even medicines that have added the flavor in attempt to hop on the bandwagon. Instagram user @candyhunting has documented some of the more audacious PSL products currently on the shelves.

There’s cereal, because a PSL is simply not enough pumpkin spice for breakfast.

The greatest Frosted Mini Wheats are back on shelves! The perfection of the pumpkin spice flavor makes up for how gross the cereal becomes once it gets soggy. Found them at Target.

If you’re more of a sandwich person, you can get both sliced bread AND English Muffins flavored for fall.

Feel pumpkin spiced out yet? I am pretty sure there will be a pumpkin spice version of everything this year. Here we have the pumpkin replacement for sandwich bread. Ok, it’s meant to be toast, but this would probably work well as bread for a fluffernutter.

They’re back! Pumpkin Spice Thomas’ English Muffins are back in the bread aisle. Strangely, I didn’t see the accompanying bagels. Found them at Woodman’s.

You can even keep PSL in your diet when you catch that inevitable seasonal cold and fall under the weather.

I’m pretty sure the sole reason why I’ve had a sore throat since Friday is that my immune system wants me to buy these CVS pumpkin spice cough drops. Well immune system, it’s not happening. Menthol and pumpkin sound horrible together.
