Cupid’s Arrow Strikes: 10 Year Old Boys Note To Girlfriend Shows That True Love Still Exists

It’s nice to know with all the hardships and bad things going on in the world that true love does still exist to delight our hearts and minds.  Ah, young love!  Cole and Sherri are two 10-year-old youngsters who live in Montgomery, Texas. Recent reports tell us that they have been going out with each other for a year now and they keep going strong as a couple.  Cutie-patootie Sherri broke her leg playing soccer and guess who came to make her feel better?  None other than Cole.

He wrote her the sweetest get well note ever which contained sympathy, love, caring, and profound insight for someone of Cole’s young age.  In addition, he also brought her a cookie cake and a cute teddy bear to boot during one of her practices at soccer as she sat on the sidelines healing.

Above is the beautifully crafted letter that Cole wrote to his 10-year-old girlfriend named Sherri.

Some passages that really caught my eye in the realm of sweetness is when Cole said that Sherri makes his day when he sees her beautiful smile and when she plays soccer.  He really has some devotion for this girl!

Cole really shows additional insight when he says that God has a plan for each and every one of us.  He also states that it’s hard for people to understand why certain things happen to us and that God knows what and how much we can handle.  Geez, I really wish I had possessed this much wisdom when I was a kid! Cole also says for Sherri to let him know if he can help her during her recovery.

So how did all this get started?  Well, Cole confessed his feelings for Sherri in the fourth grade and they have been inseparable ever since.  They go to family dinners together and of course they go to each others sporting events.  You can tell just by their eyes that they completely enjoy each others company and how in love they are with each other.

Cole and Sherri’s story has gone totally viral with nothing but positive comments and sweet notes.  Sherri’s cousin Gabriella retweeted the pictures and note and suddenly the whole Internet world went crazy!  It would be great if all boyfriends were considerate like Cole.  They are sometimes few and far between and somehow Sherri has captured Cole’s heart for good.  Wouldn’t it be great to see where these two lovebirds are in their relationship in ten years?

How many males do you know who would do something so sweet?  It’s really amazing how much thought and love Cole has for his young friend Sherri. Perhaps these two will get married when they enter adulthood.  I can see a follow-up story becoming very popular in the future.
