Awesome Dad Hand-Builds Amazing Crib For His Newborn Baby

Every dad would like to wear the crown of, “World’s Greatest Dad.” It’s not an easy competition to win, though. With so many fathers in the world going above and beyond the call of duty, it takes a lot to stand out in such a crowded field.

We found a dad who may take the cake. Upon finding out his wife was pregnant, this excited father to take it upon himself to build the Taj Mahal of cribs. Once you see the pictures, you’ll know exactly why we’re dubbing this proud poppa, “World’s Greatest Dad.”

First, just to tease the beauty of what’s to come, is a picture of the wood used to construct the sleepy-time masterpiece.

That’s an impressive pile of wood to be sure. The finished crib, painted and peaceful, is even more impressive.

Of course, as this dad chronicled his day, he did more than just post a picture of wood followed by the finished product. Oh no, he posted enough pictures to let the whole world know how much love he put into his sleeping baby’s dreamworld.

Here we see the wood as he begins to cut it down to the exact specifications he needs. The best guess is that what we’re seeing is the bars of the crib, currently in a very crude form. Eventually, they will be beautiful art.

And there’s the proof that in the pudding! Indeed, the wood being cut above was used to make the bars that keep the baby safe all night long. Still, at this point, it’s not exactly clear what is going to be so epic about this crib that the process had to be documented.

Maybe this explains it?

Nope. That’s just father’s little helper, keeping an eye on things and looking appropriately adorable.

That’s some fine woodwork, but still, nothing that makes this crib stand out. Don’t worry, though, this crib stands out. HERE is the proof.

That’s one of the most gorgeous cribs we’ve ever seen. Once fully assembled and painted, it’s hard to argue with how great of a dad this baby has. And if anyone is wondering whether his cute little bundle of joy had any complaints, just look at this.

There is one of the most content children you will ever see. Pure bliss and happiness.

Anyone who has ever taken on a DIY project knows that they are not easy. Many times these projects are brought on for budgetary reasons. It’s cheaper to buy materials yourself, then lose a lot of sweat and sleep trying to construct it the right away.

Sometimes DIY projects are put together because it’s just more fun to do something yourself. The sense of accomplishment is far greater, and when you finish and get to see the results, nothing feels better.

We can only imagine this dad watches over his baby every night with a huge sense of pride. He has done something truly amazing for his child, and we are lucky enough that he chose to share it with the world.
