Zendaya: Jay Z knew of leaked love life

Zendaya thinks Jay Z was well aware Beyonce was going to address his alleged affair on her new album ‘Lemonade’.

The 19-year-old singer made a brief cameo in the brunette beauty’s hour-long visual and has hinted that the rapper didn’t appear to be in shock when he heard the lyrics to her hard-hitting songs while shooting the 12-track creative video.

Asked by TMZ if she thought the ‘Run This Town’ hitmaker was expecting the awkward lyrics when he rocked up on set to watch his spouse film the imagery, she said: "I assume so. He visited the day I was on, he seemed cool."

And, although the 34-year-old beauty appeared to hint that her spouse, with whom she has four-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, had been unfaithful with a woman she called "Becky", Zendaya is convinced they’ve worked through their marital problems and are now "happy".

She explained: "They were beautiful together. They seemed happy. Everything seemed cool. They’re a beautiful couple."

The pair’s seven-year marriage has been the hot topic of conversation since the album was dropped last month but the teenager thinks the whole thing may be a publicity stunt.

She added: "It’s fantastic [the album], it’s about the music. At the end of the day, drama aside, the music and the visuals – everything is there."

Since her LP was released, fans have been speculating about who Jay Z’s alleged mystery woman is.

Rita Ora, who was signed to the rapper’s Roc Nation label in 2008 but has since sued the firm for failing to produce a second album, was the first person to find herself in the firing line but she has since poured cold water on the rumors by posing for a cozy photograph with Beyonce at this week’s Met Gala in New York City.
