Many believed Bree Avery, aka Lonelygirl15, was just an awkward homeschooled 16 year old making strange videos in her bedroom. Her videos were hosted on, at one point, the most subscribed-to channel on YouTube. And it's easy to see why. Avery began to reveal troubling stories surrounding the secret occult practices of her family, which captivated viewers, but also led to suspicions that Avery was faking it all. It was after this the Los Angeles Times revealed that Bree Avery was a fictitious character played by 19-year-old Jessica Lee Rose, hired by LG15 Studios to carry out the elaborate story. Rose has continued acting, making her way onto the screen with Sorority Forever, Casting Couch, and Perfect Sport.
