Unbelievable Surprise For Single Mother
Sometimes, our guardian angels are closer than you think.
If you’ve ever watched the show Undercover Boss before, you know that there are plenty of inspiring moments during the show. For those who don’t know, Undercover Boss is a program where bosses of multi-million dollar companies go undercover as entry-level employees for their company. More often than not, the bosses in disguise realize that their subordinates are truly amazing people, who deserve a lot more than they are given during times of need.
One of those employees is Angel, an employee at Modell’s, who began the show believing she was being filmed for a documentary. She might have been aware of the cameras, but she had no clue that her new trainee was Mitchell Modell, the company’s CEO. He completely changed his look for the episode so that Angel would have no idea it was him.
What started out as a way to see if his employees are doing a good job turned into something so much more after Angel opened up to him about what life is like as a young and single mother. In the video, she explains to the undercover Modell that life hasn’t always been easy ever since she was fired from her old management job due to her pregnancy:
“We’ve been homeless for a long time. We live in a shelter now,” the single mother says. “It doesn’t matter, though. I don’t want you to feel sad for me.”
Little did she know this conversation would save her life forever. After Modell finally revealed his identity, to Angel’s disbelief, not only did he give her a $14,ooo salary increase, but a tax-free check for $250,000.
