Sophie Turner thought being punched by Jennifer Lawrence was awesome
Sophie Turner thought it was "awesome" to receive a "**** punch" from Jennifer Lawrence.
The 20-year-old actress had an "amazing" time shooting ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ with the Oscar-winning star, and even saw the funny side when a misheard conversation led to her receiving a blow to the crotch during a break in filming.
She said: "Jen and I had a few scenes together. She is definitely a big inspiration to work with and she is just how you’d want Jennifer Lawrence to be. She’s exactly the same person that you see in interviews. And she was just amazing. She was really fun, really cool. Hilarious!
"She punched me in the vagina once. I didn’t ask her to either. It just happened. Evan [Peters] and I were having a fake fight and I said something like, ‘I’ll **** punch you’ or ‘I’ll punch you in the crotch’ and then Jen thought that I said, ‘Please **** punch me Jen.’ So she punched me in the vagina and I was like, ‘Awesome’. It was pretty funny.
"That was in between takes. She definitely wouldn’t have done that when we were rolling!"
At the Critics’ Choice Awards earlier this ear, Sophie infamously got overexcited to discover Ryan Gosling was on the table behind her and posted a selfie with him in the background.
And the ‘Game of Thrones’ star is hoping the Hollywood hunk hasn’t seen the picture because she’d hate to meet him one day and for things to be awkward.
She told Just Jared: "I’m kind of hoping he didn’t [see it] because I really don’t want to have to work with him and for him to know that I did that. I don’t want to meet him and have that awkwardness. I really regret that photo now!"
Sophie admits she never plays it cool when she meets the people she admires and once "collapsed" when she caught sight of Justin Bieber.
She confessed: "I’m like not cool if I ever meet celebrities. The amount of times that I’ve collapsed in front of celebrities because I’ve been so in awe of them has been ridiculous. Or I’ve said stupid stuff. So everyone!
"[I totally lost it with] Justin Bieber. I mean I didn’t meet him; I was in the same vicinity as him. I was in a circle of people and I saw him. I like collapsed and held onto my friend and I was shaking and I was like, ‘It’s Justin.’ And then he walked away. So next time he’ll be like, ‘Who the f**k is that freak? That’s the one that collapsed!’ "
