Sam Smith is smitten

It’s all roses and butterflies for Sam Smith. She says her relationship with Jay Camilleri is “good”, and the 25-year-old model is smitten with the ‘Writing’s On The Wall’ hitmaker and thinks he is the “most beautiful person imaginable”.
He said: “Sam, looks like the most beautiful person imaginable. He is stunning. I said about growing the beard and he looks so much hotter with it. He’s worked for the last year to be where he is at. Life’s good. The relationship’s good.”
Jay insists he isn’t using Sam’s fame to make a name for himself, but is aware his own career could be short-lived.
He said: “It’s early days with Sam and I, but we have been hanging out a lot having drinks, like at Shoreditch House. People have noticed. I want to prove myself and I’m not the sort of person who wants to trade on somebody else’s fame but, let’s face it, modelling isn’t going to be a long-term career. I mean, I’m no David Gandy.”
The ‘Dirty Sexy Things’ star previously suffered from eating disorder anorexia and is campaigning to raise more awareness of the issue, something his famous boyfriend – who has famously shed 50lbs – is very supportive of.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “I suffered hell with anorexia and now I love my food and put on weight if I’m not careful. Sam’s lost weight but he’s supportive. I’m producing a documentary on men’s weight issues as it hasn’t really been covered, and set up a charity for eating disorders for friends and family if people suffering and who don’t know how to cope. I’m hoping Sam who’s had his own weight battles, will be the patron.”
