Nick Young: I hope Iggy Azalea marries French Montana
Nick Young wants his ex-fiancée Iggy Azalea to "marry" French Montana.
The Fancy hitmaker made the decision to dump the cheating Los Angeles Lakers basketball player earlier this year after catching him on security cameras bringing another woman into their home.
Despite the acrimonious split, Nick insists he only wants his former partner to be "happy" with her rumored new lover and hopes their relationship becomes serious enough for them to wed.
Probed on how he feels about the blonde beauty dating Khloe Kardashian’s ex-lover, Nick told TMZ : "No man, I’m happy for them. I wish they’d get married."
However, the NBA star – who is having a baby with his ex-girlfriend Keonna Green – will be waiting a long time for his wish to come true because the 26-year-old rapper is far from ready to settle down and has dismissed romance rumors with French insisting they are only hooking up in the studio.
Quashing relationship speculation, she said recently: "I’ve only been single for like three seconds. I don’t want to be with anyone right now. We’re [just] collaborating. I’ve got another single coming out with French Montana, so we recorded it while I was in Las Vegas last week."
Nick and Iggy hit the rocks back in March when the 31-year-old sportsman was recorded by his teammate D’Angelo Russell bragging about being with other women and Iggy threatened to leave him with "half a penis" if the rumors turned out to be true.
She tried to patch up their shattered relationship but finally announced in June she’d dumped Nick, citing "trust issues".
Iggy posted on Instagram: "Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried to rebuild my trust in him – It’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page. (sic)"
