Lindsay Lohan’s dad slams Egor Tarabasov

Lindsay Lohan’s father claims Egor Tarabasov used her for a glamorous lifestyle.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress recently split with the Russian businessman following an explosive public row, and while it has been claimed her 23-year-old lover is a millionaire, Michael Lohan isn’t so convinced and now wants his daughter to settle down with a "nice, normal guy".

He said: "I have no idea [if he’s wealthy]. All I know if my daughter is paying most of the bills and trips were complimentary because of Lindsay’s name.

"She was a segueway for him to live that lifestyle…

"I wish she’d settle down with a nice, normal, sober guy. Someone who does as much for her as she does for them, and not someone in the entertainment business."

After Lindsay and Egor split amid video footage emerging of him trying to wrestle a phone out of her hands, Michael sent the businessman threatening texts and he stands by what he wrote, and is only upset he didn’t get a response.

Asked if he sent the messages, he told Britain’s Star magazine: "Absolutely, and I stand by them. Grabbing and choking my daughter? Her friends said she had black and blue marks all over her neck, chest and arm.

"You’d think he would have called me up and apologized or given me an explanation, but he didn’t."

Michael also accused Egor of interfering in his the ‘Machete’ actress’ attempts to relaunch her career.

He said: "She’s a gifted actress and should be working in the movie business.

"She was offered a couple of good film projects, but Egor wasn’t keen on them.

"He said, ‘I don’t know if they’re a very good fit for her.’ But who is he? He’s a 23-year-old kid."

Despite his harsh words, Michael would be willing to give Egor a second chance if he and Lindsay were to reunite.

He said: "No one is unworthy of a second chance – if he curbs his partying and fixes his anger issues.

"I went through things like that and overcame them. I really liked him when we first met, I saw sparks between them."
