Kristen Bell once hit her mother
Kristen Bell once got into a physical fight with her mother.
The 36-year-old actress has admitted she has only ever been in one physical fight in her life, and it just so happened to be with her own mother Lorelei after a young Kristen swore at her in the middle of an argument.
Speaking during an appearance on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’, the blonde beauty said: "I did once, in real life [have a physical fight. The only person I have every gotten physical with, and hit, was my mum! I know! I’m so sorry!"
"Well, first of all, I grew up very small, very scrappy. Everyone called me sweetheart or sweetie, and I had so much aggression. I was like, ‘Erg!’ I was rebellious. We were in the middle of a fight, and I just looked at her and I said, ‘F**k you!’
"She wound her hand back, and before she even made contact, I was up, and I whipped it right back. And we both stopped, and we were both, like, [crying]. I know, I feel really bad."
Meanwhile, Kristen recently admitted she found it incredibly difficult to film alongside her husband Dax Shepard for their new movie ‘CHiPS’, because she found him too "endearing" to be mean to on set.
Speaking about the movie, Kristen – who has two daughters Lincoln, three, and Delta, two, with Dax – said: "It was hard to be mean to him because my character is his estranged, trophy wife… and it was difficult because I do really … he’s so endearing, and I like him so much."
And Kristen says she did her best to learn to dislike her spouse – whom she tied the knot with in 2013 – during filming, and drew on the experiences of all the little arguments they’ve had throughout their romance, which has spanned a decade.
She added: "From an actor’s perspective I was like, ‘Hmm, I’ll take the 15 times he’s really annoyed me in our last 10 years [together] and I’ll put those all into a Coke bottle, pop a Mentos in there, shake it up and then that will be Karen.’"
