Kim Kardashian West will do "anything" to protect Kanye West.
The ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ star leaked a series of videos on Snapchat on Sunday (07.17.16) featuring her spouse on the phone to Taylor Swift discussing the controversial lyrics to his track ‘Famous’ and she reportedly decided to act because she didn’t want people thinking the rapper is a "liar" after the ‘Bad Blood’ singer previously insisted she had never given her approval to the song.
A source told People magazine: "Kim is super loyal to Kanye and will always do anything to have his back. She is even more protective of him than she is of herself. She thinks he’s misunderstood and couldn’t stand that people thought he was a liar."
And Kim and Kanye – who have children North, three, and Saint, seven months, together – can also rely on the 35-year-old beauty’s whole family for backing in the issue.
The source added: "The whole family will rally and go after anyone who comes at one of their own … it’s just how they always have been.
"Even with Lamar [Odom] and Scott [Disick] and all their drama, they still defend them publicly."
In her Snapchat posts, Kim shared footage of Kanye and Taylor on the phone, with the 39-year-old rapper reading her the lyric "For all my Southside n****s that know me best / I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex".
In response, Taylor could be heard saying: "It’s like a compliment."
Kanye reassured the singer he wanted her to "feel good" about the song and thanked her for being "so cool" about it, while she said she appreciated the "head’s up" about the song.
She added: "Go with whatever line…[you think is] better."
However, Taylor later insisted she never approved the actual lyric that Kanye used in the track, "I feel like me and Taylor still might have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous."
She wrote on Instagram: "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that b***h’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened. You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that b***h’ in front of the entire world."
