Khloe Kardashian ready for kids
Khloé Kardashian finally decided to divorce Lamar Odom because she wants to "move on" and have children.
The 31-year-old reality TV star called off her divorce from the sportsman – who she split from in 2013 after four years of marriage – last year in order to help him recover following his collapse at a Nevada brothel but now he was much better, she has decided to press on with legally ending their marriage because she is ready for a fresh start.
Speaking on ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ on Sunday (06.12.16), she said: "I love Lamar with all of my heart and I want the best for him … but now I feel I’m back to it being the hardest thing to do.
"I want to have kids and maybe to be remarried one day. I need to move on, and I will be filing for divorce very soon."
Earlier in the episode, Khloé had admitted she felt frustrated that "no one" checked on her and seemed to be more concerned with Lamar’s welfare than her own.
She told her sister Kim Kardashian West: "I need this marriage to end because it’s depressing.
"No one checks on me… they always check on how Lamar is doing."
Kim agreed with her younger sibling, and told the camera: "[Khloé]’s missing out on so much of her life, she has so many life decisions to make."
Khloé’s mother Kris Jenner decided to plan a short vacation to Napa Valley for the two of them and her oldest daughter, Kourtney Kardashian, but the matriarch upset the former ‘Kocktails With Khloé’ host when she invited Lamar to join them for dinner.
Khloé explained she didn’t want the basketball player forced into public situations while he is recovering, and told Kris: "I want to hang out with him privately, because we’re friends."
Khloé then had a chat with Kourtney and admitted she felt Kris only cares about Lamar, rather than her own wellbeing.
She said: "It’s so hard as it is with just me dealing with it, I love mom and I know her intentions are good but I just feel so much pressure from her.
"I get frustrated by her like ‘why don’t you want more for me too?’ "
When they returned from their vacation, Khloé told her mother she could maintain her friendship with Lamar, but asked her to respect "boundaries" and put her first, something which Kris readily agreed to.
Khloé said: "I want you to remain friends with him, but I still have boundaries.
"He can still come to family dinners if I invite him or if you ask me."
Kris replied: "You come first and I am here from you. You have to tell me what my boundaries are.
"I understand and I will be and try better. I am going to be a better mom."
