Grandparents Give Hilarious Marriage Message To Recently Engaged Grandchildren
There is no commitment greater in life than marriage. Marriage creates family, and nothing is more important than the lasting bonds family brings. After all, friends come and go, but family is forever.
Not all marriages last forever, though. In the case of one recently engaged young man, his grandparents decided not to take any chances. As a way of congratulating their beloved grandchild, the long married couple decided to give him and his fiance advice on how to keep a healthy marriage.
These grandparents, like all grandparents, had nothing but good intentions. They love their grandchild and don’t want to see him get hurt. After all, if the couple that has been together for 72 years can’t give the perfect marriage advice, then who can?
Here are their five tips:
- Be good to each other.
- Make sure you have food in your fridge because you don’t want to be hungry or starved.
- Help each other in every way financially and save up!
- Always keep a clean house. Make sure that your laundry is done and your kitchen is clean.
- TRAVEL.
- Don’t argue with each other!
That’s actually six tips, but as you will see from the video, the number four is used twice. This couple is so cute together, it’s easy to forgive that tiny mistake.
They also start arguing right after their tip not to argue. After 72 years, maybe there’s trouble brewing in paradise? Not to worry, soon after they fight, they kiss and make-up. It’s adorable. Just watch for yourself:
Have you ever seen a more perfect couple? Has there ever been a couple more beautifully in love and full of life?
Mike is one lucky grandson, and Sue is marrying into an amazing family. If they follow the advice of their elders, perhaps they can have a wonderful 72 years together. When they have a grandchild who gets engaged, hopefully they can pass on their own advice on how to live happily together.
If we’re really lucky, Mike and Sue will post a video response, letting the world know how grateful they are to have such wonderful grandparents who care so much.
The video from their grandparents has already racked up more than 107,000 views on YouTube.
That’s really the best part about family, and it bears repeating. Friends will come and go, but family is forever. For better or worse, you cannot run from your family. They will be there for you during the good times and the bad. They have to be there for you.
When two people get married, family expands and new bonds are formed that last a lifetime. Especially if you follow the “five” simple tips laid out for you by the most adorable grandparents of all time!
