Ellie Goulding dating her personal trainer?
Ellie Goulding is reportedly starting up a relationship with her personal trainer.
The 29-year-old musician has been getting close to judo champion Bobby Rich – who has also worked on fitness regimes for the likes of David Beckham and Guy Ritchie – and although she is reportedly "still single", the chance of a budding romance between the pair is "very promising".
A source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "[Ellie and Bobby] are getting on very well. Ellie is still single.
"They’re very close and both very keen on personal fitness and get on well with each other’s friends too, so it looks very promising."
But Bobby will have to fight of competition from the ‘Still Falling For You’ hitmaker’s former beau Dougie Poynter, as the 28-year-old McFly bassist previously claimed that he and Ellie both still "love each other very much", despite splitting in March this year.
He said: "We love each other very much. We are the best of friends. We hung out at Coachella, like all day, with her friends and my friends. It was really, really cool. Everything is totally fine. It’s just both being all over the place. Like I said, we still get on really well. She’s one of the most amazing people I’ve ever met. But just right now, it’s hard. I’m single now."
The news also comes after the ‘Starry Eyed’ singer previously claimed she felt her relationship with the ‘Love Is Easy’ musician was "unfinished", and hinted she was hopeful they could reconcile.
She said: "I hope so. We have something I know is special and I think other people see it – my friends see it; my family see it … But I think some things are just kind of unfinished, an unfinished story. I hope so – he’s a real gem and he’s doing so well and he’s keeping busy, as am I. I hope so, he’s a great guy."
