Dad’s Sweetest Valentine’s Date Gets Interrupted

Not everyone understands how hard it is to be a single parent. Thankfully for some children, their parents go above and beyond to make sure their kids feel loved. That was the case for this single father, who couldn’t think of anyone else he’d rather take out on Valentine’s Day than his own daughter. Far too often, nice gestures like this go without recognition, so it’s nice when their hard work is noticed every once in a while.

A couple who saw this date happening left this note for the father, seen above.

The note reads:

Hi there!

Sorry to spy, but my husband and I saw you out with your little date and were so impressed with what a great Dad you are.

From two adults who grew up without dads, it’s so important to have a male role model at a young age.
