This Cat Will Surely Love It’s One of a Kind Cat Tree

While dogs always get the reputation of being a man’s best friends, cats aren’t far behind. But like dogs, buying things for your cat can be expensive. Many people purchase pets and simply don’t realize how expensive it can get.

From vet visits to food to toys and more, owning a pet isn’t cheap. While some things (like food and vet visits) are obviously worth the money, many feel buying toys isn’t. These things can cost more than toys for your actual children. But you want your cat to have fun too, so what is there to do?

Well, if you’re the DIY expert this article is focusing on, you decided to build them. After hours and hours searching online for a fun and affordable cat tower (or cat tree) for his cat, Olivia, he was shocked. Many were too expensive or seemed cheaply made, so he decided her would take matters into his own hands and make his own, from scratch.

Would you believe this guy would somehow be able to create an amazing cat tree simply from old branches? Well , it’s true. His first job was to create the base and mold for the cat toy, which he was able to use wood and a couple of old branches to accomplish.

Once the base (complete with a resting house) and the posts (complete with platforms for the cat to jump and climb to and from), it was starting to take shape. He would use old scraps of carpet to drape over the wood to make it cat-friendly, and you can even see here his little feline friend checking out her new digs before they were even done. And before long, she was already playing with and enjoying her dad’s creation.

Once complete the huge cat tree is definitely one of the coolest pet toys we have ever seen and surely will keep Olivia entertained for years.
