Calvin Harris feels ‘betrayed’ by Taylor
Calvin Harris feels "betrayed" by Taylor Swift’s new romance with Tom Hiddleston.
The 26-year-old singer and the DJ, 32, only split up two weeks ago but she was spotted passionately kissing Tom, 35, on a beach near her Rhode Island home earlier this week and Calvin is said to be furious.
A source told TMZ: "He thought they were in a committed relationship and now he’s p**sed and feels betrayed by her."
He is also said to have been suspicious about Taylor and Tom back in May when a video emerged of them enjoying a flirty dance at the Met Gala, which he did not attend.
A source told The Sun: "The timing of this looks very bad for Taylor. There was an obvious connection with Tom at the Met Gala – you can see that in the video of them dancing together.
"Her people are insistent that no one else was involved in the split with Calvin, which is most likely the case.
"But it feels pretty disrespectful to be moving on to someone so public so quickly."
Taylor and Calvin’s 15-month relationship ended recently amid claims that he was not ready to settle down.
An insider explained: "Taylor ended things as she could feel their relationship wasn’t heading in the right direction. She discovered they were on different paths in the last few weeks. It wasn’t that they weren’t happy, but when she raised the subject of their future it became clear they do not want the same thing at the same time.
"Taylor is heartbroken. But it could have been a lot worse if they were in this position in another 15 months. She always saw herself as a young mum. It’s not that she’s in a rush to settle down or anything. But she also doesn’t want to waste time either."
Calvin was reportedly reluctant to make a "complete commitment" to the blonde beauty.
But the source added: "He absolutely adored their time together, but being a devoted boyfriend is difficult to fit in with being the biggest DJ on the planet. He also loved having his own home in LA and didn’t want to move in full time together. He loved his own space."
