Britney Spears and Sam Asghari go on third date

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have fuelled speculation they are an item after they were spotted out on a date on Sunday evening (18.12.16).

The ‘Piece of Me’ hitmaker was seen laughing and joking with the model as they headed inside Japanese restaurant Gyu-Kaku in Los Angeles on the weekend.

The pair first met when Sam starred in the singer’s raunchy ‘Slumber Party’ music video and have gone on three dates already, People magazine reports.

Meanwhile, a source previously claimed the 34-year-old star – who has sons Sean Preston, 11, and Jayden, 10, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – is "totally smitten" with Sam.

They said: "This is the longest Britney has ever been out of a serious relationship and she’s made no secret of the fact that she’s been desperately lonely.

"She’s been quietly dating for the past year, but Sam is the first man she’s met who has swept her off her feet and she’s totally smitten. Britney doesn’t want to go public with Sam until the boys have met him properly."

And Britney is also hoping Sam will help her stick to her workout regime.

The insider added: "Sam has been ensuring she sticks to her fitness regime and they have been working out together, so Britney credits him for keeping her in such great shape.

"She’s really happy and is hoping the tide has finally turned for her and that Sam can give her the fairytale ending she’s been longing for."

It comes after Britney admitted she is sick of dating because she hasn’t found a man who doesn’t play "mind games".

She shared: "A lot of men are about games. It’s just the mind game with guys, the calling back and texting, it’s just too much, it’s silly.

"Actually, I’m not looking for men right now, I’m really happy with myself. I’m not looking for anything, I’m fine with the way I am. I like someone that’s just nice overall, just a nice guy really is groundbreaking in this world."
