"You wear too much makeup!” Women and men hear this trite saying too often. No matter how much time we put into creating Cara Delevingne brows, or no matter how much money we spend on that Revlon mascara — there will always be that one person at work or at the family reunion who just can’t keep his or her mouth shut. "You'd be so much prettier without all that paint on your face!" Comments like these get on our nerves. Moreover, they assume that either we are not comfortable in our own skin, or we are trying to please someone with a physical facade. Both of which are not true for many women, yet these prejudices continue to haunt us day after day. Sometimes, nasty comments about our “fabricated” look stem from the perpetrator’s own insecurities. Dare we say, he or she may actually be jealous of your matte lipstick and glittering eyeshadow? Here are 21 witty, sassy, and the best comebacks for that bro or lady who just can’t appreciate your craft. Stock up on these quotes to save for later, and do yourself a favor; next time someone tells you what you “should” and “shouldn’t” do with your face, be loud and bold — just like your killer brows.
