Amber Heard and two of her friends are set to testify about Johnny Depp’s alleged abuse in court on Friday (06.17.16).

The 30-year-old actress will stand before the judge along with her pal iO Tillett Wright and her neighbor Raquel Rose Pennington as they provide evidence on the former couple’s toxic relationship in a hearing about extending her domestic-violence restraining order against the actor.

A source told the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column: "Amber and two of her friends are willing to testify under oath about exactly what happened with Depp. This will put an end to anyone who has doubted her story and his lawyers’ claims that this is about money."

iO – an American photographer – submitted a declaration earlier this week detailing the alleged abuse he claimed he witnessed between the former lovers on May 21.

He wrote in the legal declaration: "I heard Johnny launch into a cruel and vicious rage. I then heard Amber crying in fear and begging Johnny to stop his attack … I called 911 to save Amber’s life."

However, the 53-year-old actor has, through his lawyer Laura Wasser, denied physically abusing his wife-of-15 months.

Amber’s legal team reportedly sent the ‘Black Mass’ star a request to attend the hearing, held at Los Angeles Superior Court, later this week but it’s believed his lawyer has told him to shun the meeting in order to protect against incriminating himself in any potential criminal action further down the line.

And Johnny – who is currently on vacation in the Bahamas – is not legally compelled to comply with the request Amber’s team have sent him about attending the hearing.

Meanwhile, the ‘Danish Girl’ star was supposed to address her request for temporary spousal support, which could see her receive almost $1 million a month, at the hearing but she has reportedly withdrawn with appeal as she feels Johnny’s team are using it against her to distract from her abuse claims.

Amber obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Johnny, which means he has to stay at least 100 yards away from her and her home, last month after she accused him of abusing her throughout their marriage.

She filed for divorce from Johnny four weeks ago, citing irreconcilable differences.

It’s believed the couple don’t have a pre-nuptial agreement.
