Adorable Sloth Helps Man Propose In The Best Way

Sloths have become an internet wide phenomenon in recent years. Everyone loves a good sloth video. Remember when Kristen Bell was so overwhelmed by her husband’s gift to her for her birthday that she had to curl up in the fetal position and cry like a baby? For those who don’t remember, Kristen Bell’s husband, Dax, bought a sloth to come hang out at her party. She was so excited that she didn’t know how to process the joy she was feeling.

Now, the internet also loves a good proposal. And if the two are combined? That’s just internet gold. Which is why we love this story.

Carly Corvin loves sloths. Perhaps she doesn’t have the intense feelings for them that Kristen Bell does, but it’s safe to say that she loves sloths more than the average person. And she also loves her boyfriend, Walter McCann. Which is why she told him once that if he “proposed with a sloth, there was no way” she could say no.

So that’s what McCann did. He took Corvin to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida where he had set up some private time with a sloth. The video below shows the couple as the sloth is brought in by an employee. It is pretty obvious to see how overcome with emotion she is in seeing one so close. When the employee asks if she’d like to feed him, she said “Please!” and looks like she could die of happiness.

However, unbeknownst to her, Corvin is about to get the surprise of her life. The employee brings the serving plate around and that’s when McCann steps in to make Corvin’s dreams come true.

He lifts the cover to reveal the words, “will you marry me?” arranged in vegetables and drops to one knee. It’s adorable to see the excitement on his face as he looks at Corvin, knowing that he had set up the best proposal for her ever.

It only took a few seconds for her to answer with an enthusiastic “yes!”
