You Won’t Believe What This Woman Is Living In
Over the past few years, a craze has begun and boomed that is having everyone think of their living arrangements. The craze I am talking about is the “tiny house movement” which encourages and advocates people to have very simple lives in tiny homes. While there is no maximum or minimum size for a tiny house, they are generally any home that is less than 500 square feet. With the average American home being over 2000 square feet, this is definitely out of the norm.
These homes often look and feel like a regular, modern home, but are just much smaller. But one person who took their tiny home a step further is a woman who lives in the UK named Frenchy. Frenchy is a performer in the Fairy Festivals in the UK and has one of the most unique and amazing living quarters on the planet. Now, back in the mid-1800s all the way through to the early 20th century, the British Romani people used tiny wagons and/or horse drawn caravans as their homes.
Frenchy was inspired by these individuals and decided that is how she wanted to live as well. Nut not only is the size of Frenchy’s home unique and different, so it the design. Her wagon features some absolutely brilliant artwork from a brilliant door as well as a number of other eclectic pieces in the home that all feels very magical. It really is hard to ignore how brilliant and cool the wagon is. It has the old school charm as it is an homage to those who came before her, but also features stunning art and a layout/design that is very detailed.
Her home is located on a plot of land that spans about 10 acres that it communal. Not only is her home unique, it is almost complete and 100% off the grid and self-sustaining Now while this style of art or layout of her home may not be your style, you can’t help but praise her for doing what she wants to do in life and living how she wants to live. She is truly a free spirited individual through and through and her choice of home (and the way it is designed) truly reflects that character of hers.
A ton of us fall into a boring ritual of working, eating and sleeping and this can often lead us into a boring house, and an overall boring life. Frenchy (and others like her) prove that there is indeed an alternative to the rat race out there and you just have to go get it. And while I’m not saying this kind of free-spirited life is for everyone, maybe just do something different and challenging every day that you would have never thought to do before. No one wants a boring ritual day in and day out, so it is up to you to make sure that doesn’t happen.
But enough about that, and back to the house. It is your lucky day. Not only can you read about this brilliant home, but you can also take a virtual tour as Frenchy will show you her fairy tale home.
