New Teaser Confirms ‘Stranger Things’ Season Two Premiere Date

After months of speculation, fans of the Netflix smash hit Stranger Things finally have a date to circle on their calendars.
Thanks to new teaser dropped on July 11, we now know that the second season of the critically acclaimed horror series will premiere on October 27. The release three days before Halloween is appropriate, as it’s already been previously confirmed that this season’s storyline will play out around Halloween 1984.
The official synopsis for Stranger Things‘ second season reads:
“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”
In addition to returning stars Millie Bobbie Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, David Harbour, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLaughlin, and Joe Keery, the new season will feature Paul Reiser, Sean Astin, Will Chase and Brett Gelman.
