Robert Downey Jr could read about himself all day
Robert Downey Jr. could read about himself "all day".
The 51-year-old actor, who has played Iron Man in the Marvel Comics franchise since 2008, has admitted he likes to read "good reviews" about himself and his performance in the hit movies.
Speaking at the European premiere of ‘Captain America: Civil War’ – in which he returns as Iron Man – in Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush, London, on Tuesday (26.04.16), he said: "I was reading some good reviews [about the movie]. I could read good reviews about me all day."
When he isn’t busy reading about himself, Robert loves spending time with his kids, 22-year-old Indio – whose mother is his ex-wife Deborah Falconer – Exton, four, and Avri, 17, months.
And the ‘Sherlock Holmes’ actor – who has his younger kids with wife Susan Levin – admits he often "acts like" a child himself.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I’m crazy about kids, I’ve got them and I still act like one sometimes."
Meanwhile, Robert believes the latest in the Marvel series – which sees the arrival of Spiderman (Tom Holland) – – is suitable for viewers of all generations.
He said: "The nice thing is also the subject matter of this movie, it really is a kind of one size fits all."
