Warner Bros. kicked off New York Comic Con with some exciting news for DC Comics fans: a new Justice League trailer and character posters.
On Wednesday, WB unveiled brand new posters for the highly anticipated comic team-up featuring all five main characters — Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg. The posters were on display over the weekend at NYCC. The weekend ended with a bang when DC and WB unveiled the newest trailer for the film.
Here’s the full synopsis for Justice League:
“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”
Also on Sunday at New York Comic Con, Warner Bros. Animation premiered Batman vs. Two-Face, the sequel to the hit animated movie, Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. The animated movies feature many of the voices from the original 1966 Batman TV series, including Adam West, Burt Ward, and Julie Newmar. William Shatner joins the voice cast to play Harvey Dent/Two-Face. The voice acting was one of West’s final performances before he passed away in June.
