This is a heartwarming story about how an Egyptian community came together to save a little puppy’s life after learning that it was stuck under a large boulder by the water for a month.
This is a testament to what a group of determined people can do and the effect they can have on their surroundings when they combine their efforts. Spoiler Alert: Animal lovers might want a box of tissues nearby as they read what happened to this tiny little pup!to this tiny little pup!
A few friends were enjoying their day walking along the beach when they heard a strange crying nearby. Though it was very faint, they knew they weren’t just hearing things. As they got closer to the whimpering, they started to investigate the huge rocks.
Once they realized that there was a puppy stuck in the boulders crying for help, they immediately got to work trying to think of a way to save the poor thing.
But no matter how hard they pushed and pulled, the rocks wouldn’t move. When they sent a brave soul down into the rocks to try and free the puppy, that didn’t work either. They found out, however, that others in the community had known about the puppy and it looked like they had been bringing food and water for her.
After many failed attempts over the next few days to free the pup, the rescuers sought help from the city officials.
Once the city got involved, they came prepared with tools to help free the pup. However, the huge rocks were still too heavy to move. At this point, with the whole community involved now, they couldn’t give up. They brought in a bulldozer. It took the bulldozer and a firetruck a whole week to move the rocks just enough that the puppy could find a way out.
Finally, she was free. And surprisingly, the little pup was not hurt at all! She even looks pretty clean for being trapped under sandy rocks by the beach for a whole month.
Once the puppy emerged, everyone crowded around, hoping to get a glimpse of the little survivor. It was emotional seeing the little pup that was trapped for a month finally free. The community of rescuers decided together to name her Rock.
Rock was quickly was adopted by these happy ladies and is now living with her “furever” family.
